If you’ve not yet had the opportunity to experience this Northwest Florida vacation destination then you’ve come to the right place. Rosemary Beach 23-year-old master-planned community in South Walton County Florida. It is located on the eastern end of the 30A corridor. To the east of RMB is Inlet Beach and to the west is Seacrest Beach, Alys Beach and WaterSound Beach as you’ll see on our interactive 30A map. No matter which direction you enter from, you’ll know it when you arrive. Live Oaks and beautiful open greens line the sidewalks which are trafficked by pedestrians on bikes and afoot. Incredible French and Spanish style architecture is on display in all directions. Cobblestone streets and oil lanterns pull the European feel together even more throughout this mature Emerald Coast beach town.
Getting to Rosemary Beach is easy from anywhere in the world. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is only 25 minutes away and the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport is about an hour drive west. When you arrive in this 30A community you will not need to worry about driving a vehicle. A large network of interconnected pedestrian pathways weaves throughout the entire 107-acre community making it easy to access swimming pools, parks, restaurants, shops, tennis courts and of course the beach. No matter what part of the neighborhood you stay in, you’re never far away from anything thanks to its unique design.
Fun Things To Do in Rosemary Beach
Soaking in the sun on the sugar white sand beach is a favorite activity of all people that visit this 30A town. However, Rosemary Beach is an active community and there are plenty of other fun things to do in addition to sipping cold beverages with your toes in the water. For example, if you like tennis then you’re sure to enjoy the Racquet Club. With eight perfectly manicured clay courts RMB lives up to its slogan of “A Tennis Lover’s Paradise”. Also, located next to the tennis courts you’ll find the Fitness Center and Sky Pool. The Fitness Center is a large facility equipped with treadmills, free weights, free-motion equipment and CyBex Arc Trainers. You’ll find the tennis courts, fitness center, and Sky Pool at the far east end of the community on the north side of Scenic 30A.
If shopping is more of your thing Rosemary Beach will not disappoint. All throughout the Town Center, you’ll find many different types of boutique stores. With so much variety, it’s easy to spend the better part of a day browsing through shops. Some of the more popular stores in RMB include…

- The Hidden Lantern Bookstore is where you’ll find a wide range of unique books to read on the beach.

- Southside Slice is a brand new Pizza joint located downtown RMB next to Town Hall. This is a must try spot next time your in South Walton.
- La Crema is a tasty and unique restaurant that specializes in tapas and chocolate.
- Havana Beach Bar and Grill is located in The Pearl hotel. They specialize in Spanish, Portuguese and French flavors.
- Cowgirl Kitchen is an American style joint with a little bit of everything to offer.
- Amavida Coffee and Tea is a great place to grab an espresso and scone any time of day.
Rosemary Beach Access to the Gulf of Mexico
When you stay in RMB, you have access to 9 different beach walkovers and they are labeled in alphabetical order from East to West. So “A Walkover” is located on the far east end and “I Walkover” is located on the far west end. Please keep in mind that all 9 Gulf access points are private so you will need the Rosemary Beach access code to open the walkover gates. You’ll want to ask your property manager for the RMB access code and pool pass info prior to your arrival.
You will find 2 handicap accessible walkovers in Rosemary Beach and they are; “A Walkover” and “G Walkover”. Rosemary Beach Pools
Guests will have access to 4 community pools throughout their stay. The pools are private so you’ll need to have the Rosemary Beach access code which is 4 numbers. In addition to the access code, you’ll need an amenity pass which your property management company should provide. Two of the RMB community pools (Sky Pool and Cabana Pool) are located on the north side of 30A and the other two (Coquina Pool and Barbados Pool) are on the south side.
Rosemary Beach Wedding
Rosemary Beach has quickly become one of the most popular wedding venues in all of SoWal and beyond. In 2017 it was voted the Best of Borrowed & Blue for top wedding venue on Florida’s Emerald Coast. With so many beautiful Gulf View green spaces throughout the town, it’s easy to see why people choose to get hitched here. You’ll find 6 main wedding venues in Rosemary Beach and they are; Town Hall, Saint Augustine Green, Eastern Green, Western Green, The Beach, and Poolside.
