ATTN: Parents with Young Children… Here are 3 of my Favorite FREE Things To Do with them in Rosemary Beach
One of the things I love most about living in Inlet Beach is that the east end of 30A is within easy walking distance. As a mom of 2 young boys (3 and 1 years old) exploring Rosemary Beach with them is something we try to do as often as possible.
Last week I shared some of my favorite kid-friendly Inlet Beach activities. Today I’m going to reveal my 3 favorite things for parents of young kids to do with them in Rosemary Beach so let’s get started…
Exploring Rosemary Beach via the Fitness Path
Rosemary Beach is a charming South Walton community that offers endless inspiration and it is one of my favorite places to walk with the boys. Upon entering RMB you are instantly shaded from the sun by the Live Oak trees that line both sides of Scenic Hwy 30A. If you’re looking to explore this 30A east community in-depth with your kids, the Fitness Trail is a great way to accomplish that goal.
The Rosemary Beach Fitness Path includes sidewalks, boardwalks, and secret paths spanning more than 2 miles. The paths wind throughout the entire community so you’ll see every inch of this elegantly designed 30A beach town including the parks, pools, the Town Center, Gulf of Mexico and more.
There are plenty of spots along the Rosemary Beach Fitness Trail to let your kids out of the stroller without having to worry about them getting run over. My kids love to spot squirrels, butterflies, flowers and simply explore. There is something so magical about the naturally landscaped boardwalks that will have your little one’s imaginations running wild. Weaving and wandering through Rosemary is a great activity any time of year.
Your Kids will Love the Rosemary Beach Splash Pad
The Rosemary Beach splash pad is a hidden gem and a great pit stop on your stroll along the fitness path. Not many people realize a splash pad actually exists in RMB. It is located on the North side of the community across the street from St. Augustine Park as you’ll see on our interactive 30A Map.
The Rosemary Beach splash pad is naturally shaded by trees making it a great spot to hit up in the afternoon when your kids need a break from the sun! With the push of a button, the water explodes from below the ground to every child’s delight. My boys love taking turns hitting the button and the splash pad has benches so parents can relax and watch the kiddos play.
The Rosemary Beach Playground is Always Fun
In addition to the splash pad, you’ll find a fantastic playground on the southeast end of RMB. My boys absolutely love it and it’s a great place to meet up with friends. The Rosemary Beach playground is well shaded and completely fenced in which is a major plus!
I hope you have as much fun exploring Rosemary Beach with your kids as I do!
