30A East Inlet Beach SunsetInlet Beach is the easternmost community in South Walton County Florida. Neighbors to Rosemary Beach and the 30A east corridor, Inlet Beach is quickly becoming a popular vacation destination. Known for having the best public beach access points in SoWal, this laid-back neighborhood screams Old Florida. It's the perfect place for those that want to be close to the action but not right in the middle of it. Also, from a vacation rental perspective, Inlet Beach is much more affordable than it's 30A east neighbors yet has everything they have and more.
Inlet Beach has a lot of unique things to offer some of which include...
Lake Powell - the largest of the rare coastal dune lakes that run the entire 18 mile 30A stretch. Lake Powell boarders the eastern end of Inlet Beach and is often open to the Gulf waters. Pontoon boat rentals have become a popular thing on Lake Powell and Salt Air 30A is one of the local companies that rents them if you're interested.
Camp Helen State Park - Also located on the eastern end of Inlet Beach, Camp Helen State Park is a popular place to visit. The park encompasses part of the Lake Powell western shoreline and extends south all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. Camp Helen is full of Old Florida history and it's a great place to hike and/or bike through.
30Avenue - A brand new shopping / restaurant / live music venue gather place on the north side of hwy 98 in Inlet Beach. 30Avenue has become one of the hottest 30A east spots over the course of the past 15 months or so. The landscaping is tremendous and it's my favorite outdoor venue on 30A for live music. We go every Thursday evening for "Music on the Green".
This Inlet Beach sunset aerial video was shot in January 2017 at the Orange Street beach access point. Orange Street is a regional beach spot meaning it has plenty of parking, bathrooms and is wheelchair accessible.
